biography

me

I graduated in 2003 with a Honours Degree in Editorial & Advertising Photograhy, from the Kent Institute of Art & Design (now University College for the Creative Arts).

Much of the following two years was spent exploring the world of film making.

In 2006, I made a return to my photographic roots, and embarked upon a solo trip around the globe. A huge voyage of personal discovery, it allowed me to enhance my portfolio, and solidify the direction I wanted to take.

Borne in part, I believe, from a childhood moving regularly around the country; I have developed a deep natural curiosity for the things that surround me.

Many of my images take a structured viewpoint, which allows me to make a comment upon the scene before me. Yet, at the same time, I think it is more interesting to place this observation within a wider context, one which will hopefully pose questions, and initiate debate.
