In recent years the presentation of wedding imagery has come on in leaps and bounds. It is no longer acceptable for the modern bride to have a standardised leather album with a number of group shots slotted into the album pages.
Today's young couple want a memento of their day, which is truly unique to them.
I have scoured the globe looking for the albums that deliver the highest quality in terms of craftsmenship and a contemporary edge. I am not just trying to sound dramatic when I say this, I have spoken to manufacturers in Italy, Australia, America and the UK. In the end it came down to one company, Queensberry...and they're based in New Zealand!
A number of people have mentioned to me the modern 'Magazine Style' albums - digital albums printed flush to the page edges. There are a number of beautiful examples of these on the market, yet at the same time, having an element of the 'matted' pages, which have remained popular over the years seems to bring an elegance and quality to an album.
